Hawaii Big Island Secret Paradise

‘Big Island Secrets in Hawaii Paradise’ by: Jim Lee

I was borne and raised in San Francisco and moved to the Big Island without any regrets whatsoever. My wife and I were tried of the busy city lifestyle Rat Race and decided to make the biggest changed of our life by selling our home and moving to the Big Island of Hawaii.

As a result, we build a Bed and Breakfast and continue living our dreams in Hawaii Paradise.

Hawaii Paradise is located on the east side tip of the Big Island called, Hawaiian Paradise Park. This rural area is considered and second largest sub-division in United States, which consist of over 8,800 one-acre lots.

This sub-division is the fastest growing area, about 40% lots are sold, and new homes are still under construction and development stages.

I personally think we discovered a secret lifestyle living in paradise and here are EIGHT reasons why.

1) Mild traffic driving in the park and into Hilo. We are only 17 miles to the Hilo International Airport and it takes 17 minutes drive to arrival on time. This location is perfect for us. If we want to explore nature, one cannot ask for more. Many world best attractions are here on the Big Island.

For example, the world most active volcano, Kilauea is 40 minutes away.http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/

The world tallest mountain from sea level, Mauna Kea also where the world most telescope (17) are situated. http://www.ifa.hawaii.edu/mko/

One of the world finest coffees, Kona Coffee.

The world largest orchids industry and macadamia nuts factory. http://www.lavalaure.com/About_Hawaii/page_1109856.html

What about the world first Sony 3D full dome Planetarium at Imiloa Astronomy Center http://www.imiloahawaii.org/interior.php?pageID=184

2) Surround by Hawaii's nature beauty with miles and miles of tropical plants, trees and flowers never before seen in the mainland. http://www.hawaiianparadisepark.org

3) Nature birds and chicken cock-it-dodo sound awake us each morning instead of fire truck, police car and ambulance sires. These sire sound are very rare living in this park.

4) All friendly neighbors wave as you walk-by and say 'good morning' on regular bases.

5) Our location is mid-way from mother's nature best and modern conveniences. (Macy's, Sears, JC Pennys, Home Depot, Wal-Mart in the Prince Kuhio Plaza Mall area) http://www.princekuhioplaza.com/html/

6) The cost of living is lower than San Francisco based on my 5 months research and studies.

7) Best of all is the climate. All year around the temperature ranges from 76-84 degree even in the winter season, but it rains hard. All of our winter clothes are packed and stored away in the closet; however; the rainfall showers mostly at night, which makes it perfect watering for veggies, lawn and plants. US News stated, Hilo, Hawaii is the best place to retire. http://www.usnews.com/listings/retirement/hawaii/hilo

8) Visitors and guests from many foreign countries are amazed of Hawaii paradise, because of so many factors.

The Big Island has it all! This will be my next article topic.
